A global maritime technology company seeks a Full‑Stack Software Developer to enhance its maritime digital platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver state-of-the-art software solutions while employing the latest Microsoft technology stack. Candidates should have a master's or bachelor's degree and over 3 years of experience in software development including .NET, React, and TypeScript. Class Development is about 150 people strong, and we are responsible for the maritime digital platform in DNV. Several development teams at 4 locations handle more than 400 applications, used by thousands of people internally and externally, 24/7, all over the world.
We are looking for a highly motivated Full‑Stack Software Developer to further strengthen our development center in Høvik. You will be a part of the global Maritime development team tasked with delivering state‑of‑the‑art solutions and helping customers reach their goals.
Our technology platform is a web‑centric set of microservices that leverages the latest Microsoft technology stack and open‑source solutions, both on‑premises and in Azure. The platform is based on innovative use of web components and application composition using the latest in web technologies. We have a fully automated DevOps cycle and are open to using AI to support us during development. We have solutions out in production and many more in the works. In this position, you will play a central role in evolving our system architecture and delivering innovative solutions. The Maritime industry needs to reduce the CO₂ emissions from international shipping. DNV is a key player in helping the industry reach this goal. We aim to continue our leading role as a classification society by leading the digital transition of assurance in the maritime market and taking new third‑party roles toward a wider part of the value chain.
