Job summary

A leading technology company in the UK is seeking a Software Engineer III to design, build, and support software solutions for major retailers. This role involves the entire project lifecycle, from requirement analysis to delivery and ongoing support. Key qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, 6+ years of experience in C environments, and expertise in object-oriented development. The position is a flex contractor role, not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• 6 years of experience developing in C environments.
• 6 years of Object-Oriented development.
• 5 years experience with ACE (TGCS point of sale applications).
• 5 years with Payments and Pinpad development.
• Proficiency in Programming Design Patterns.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements, design new functionalities and implement design by coding.
• Debug and analyze internal defects related to payments.
• Certify peer code following coding guidelines.
• Collaborate with the implementation and test teams on design and development.
• Ensure proper process is followed and coding standards are adhered to.
