Job summary

Eden Brown Synergy is seeking a dedicated Senior Social Worker to join the Children in Need team in Central Ladywood, Birmingham. You will conduct comprehensive assessments and develop care plans to meet the needs of vulnerable children and families, while supervising junior social workers.

Role emphasizes safeguarding, collaboration with multi-agency teams, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will have a recognised social work qualification and registration with Social Work

Qualifications

• Recognised Social Work qualification (Degree, DipSW or equivalent).
• Registered with Social Work England.
• Experience in childrens social services, particularly with children in need.
• Strong assessment and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and strengths.
• Developing and implementing care plans with families and other professionals.
• Providing supervision and support to junior social workers and trainees.
• Maintaining accurate case records in line with local authority policies.
• Collaborating with multi-agency teams to safeguard and promote welfare.
