Job summary

Eden Brown Synergy is looking for a dedicated Senior Social Worker to join our Child Protection Team in Birmingham. You will lead assessments, develop care plans, and work with multidisciplinary colleagues to safeguard children and support vulnerable families.

Qualifications

• Recognized Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in child protection.
• Strong knowledge of child protection legislation and safeguarding policies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven leadership and case management experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
• Develop and implement tailored care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide guidance and support to junior social workers, ensuring best practices are followed.
• Engage with families and community resources to facilitate effective interventions.
• Participate in court proceedings and present evidence where necessary.
• Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
