Job summary

Eden Brown Synergy are recruiting a Qualified Social Worker for the Child Protection Inquiry Team at Birmingham Children’s Trust, located in Birmingham. The role focuses on safeguarding children, carrying out Section 47 enquiries, and coordinating statutory assessments with partner agencies to ensure timely interventions.

You will manage complex safeguarding cases, assess risk, and contribute to child-centred planning to promote positive outcomes. Social Work England registration is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Social Work or equivalent and SW England registration.
• Experience in Child Protection safeguarding and statutory processes.
• Experience completing Section 47 enquiries and statutory assessments.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex safeguarding concerns and undertake Child Protection enquiries.
• Complete Section 47 enquiries and contribute to risk assessment.
• Contribute to child-centred plans and timely interventions.
• Work closely with partner agencies to safeguard children.
