Job summary

Eden Brown Synergy in Birmingham seeks a Senior Practitioner within the Family Help service in Northfield to lead and support a social work team. You will oversee case management, drive safeguarding practice, and ensure high-quality services for children and families in the community.

You will bring a recognized social work qualification, current Social Work England registration, and substantial experience in child protection and family support, along with strong leadership and communication

Qualifications

Recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
Current registration with Social Work England.
Extensive experience in child protection and family support services.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with ability to inspire a team.
Excellent written and verbal communication, with collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

Leading and mentoring a team of social workers, providing guidance and support in case management.
Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and families.
Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and other stakeholders.
Ensuring compliance with local and national policies and procedures, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Maintaining accurate and timely case records, and contributing to the evaluation of service delivery.
