Job summary

Barhale Holdings Ltd invites applications for a Senior Engineer to provide site engineering duties across regional projects in the UK. You will supervise trainees and site engineers, set out works from contract drawings and establish survey control for each contract.

Essential qualifications include a Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering, CSCS and SMSTS, plus experience using AutoCAD and running reports. The role requires strong leadership, planning and adherence to safety and quality standards on

Qualifications

Degree or HNC in civil engineering or equivalent is essential.
Relevant safety certifications (CSCS, SMSTS) are required.
Experience in site set-out, surveying and quality control.

Responsibilities

Establish the level and survey control for contracts and handover to Site Engineers.
Set out detailed works per contract drawings and supervise setting out activities.
Be present for critical setting-out activities and ensure checks are completed.
Maintain health, safety and environmental records and ensure compliance.
Deliver work safely to specified quality, with no defects.
Develop efficient work methods and coordinate with PMs and site teams.
Act as Deputy for Site Agent when required and manage material take-offs.
