Job summary

UK Home Office in Glasgow invites applications for a Senior Service Designer to support and protect communities by delivering better services. You will join an agile, multi-disciplinary team within the Digital Corporate Enablement Office to shape digital services for colleagues across the organisation.

Key projects include building and improving services for HR, Finance, Estates, and internal tools, plus accessibility and inclusive design.

Qualifications

Service design leads complex projects coordinating people, process and tech.
Prototyping and concept creation for high-impact projects, including interactive prototyping in code.
Service analysis of complex processes to identify improvements.
Adherence to accessibility standards and inclusive design considerations.
Experience coaching junior team members.
Strong stakeholder communication and advocacy for UCD principles.

Responsibilities

Lead service design efforts for complex projects across front-stage and back-stage.
Coordinate people, process and technology to deliver optimal services.
Mentor junior team members in service design methods.
Develop and refine prototypes and concepts for high-impact initiatives.
