Job summary

Veolia Group in Gerrards Cross is seeking a Class 2 (Cat C) licensed driver to join the team. You will transport and empty waste containers, perform daily vehicle checks, and keep accurate onboard records. A current CPC and Tachograph card are essential, with RoRo/Skip/Dustcart experience and waste management background being a plus.

The role asks for flexibility with early starts (02:00–04:00) and occasional Saturday work, offering annual leave and a comprehensive benefits package in return.

Qualifications

• Essential: Class 2 (Cat C) licence.
• Essential: Up to date CPC.
• Essential: Digi / Tachograph Card.
• Desirable: RoRo, Skip and Dustcart experience would be a distinct advantage.
• Desirable: Experience in Waste Management.

Responsibilities

• Driving to planned collection locations and moving and emptying multiple waste containers.
• Lifting bins of all weights and sizes.
• Completing daily checks of the vehicle as per our driver operator handbook.
• Ensuring all information is input into the onboard system and all paperwork is kept up to date and submitted daily.
• Complying with all traffic laws and legislation including security and weight of loads.
• Ensuring that the carriageway is left in a clean condition and any spillages are cleaned up.
