Job summary

Kemp Recruitment Ltd in Newcastle is seeking an experienced Service Supervisor to lead the Service Control team and oversee service delivery across the North.

The role requires 5+ years in Service Control or Service Delivery, a proven track record in leadership, and strong communication and problem‑solving skills. A full UK driving licence is essential.

You will work cross-functionally with Operations, Technical and Customer Support to drive improvement and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in Service Control, Service Delivery or Hire Desk role.
• Previous team leadership experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Organised, proactive and results-driven.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Desirable: experience within construction equipment/OEM sector.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the Service Control team.
• Coordinate engineers and daily service delivery.
• Monitor WIP, KPIs, revenue and customer satisfaction.
• Identify and resolve service issues and bottlenecks.
• Improve processes, systems and ways of working.
• Support training, onboarding and team development.
• Work closely with Operations, Technical and Customer Support teams.
• Drive consistent, high-quality customer service.
