Job summary

ACS Automotive in Croydon is seeking a Senior Service Advisor to join a busy team. The role involves advising on technical queries, booking vehicles, and keeping customers informed of progress, while delivering a high standard of service.

The ideal candidate will have proven motor trade experience as a Senior Service Advisor or at a senior level, strong technical knowledge, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build lasting customer relationships.

Basic £35k - £36k DOE, OTE £40k+ uncapped

Permanent/Full Time

Monday to Friday (8am - 6pm) - No Weekends

Our client, a Motor Trade main dealer group in the Croydon area, is on the lookout for a Senior Service Advisor to join their busy team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Advising on technical queries or issues.
• Dealing with all customers in a professional, prompt and courteous manner, portraying a positive first impression of the service department.
• Booking vehicles into the department for work to be carried out.
• Informing customers of the progress of their vehicle.
• Cross selling customer repairs and parts.
• Finalising the invoice on completion of required work.

Your Background & Skill:

• Proven experience working in the motor trade working as a Senior Service Advisor or an experienced Service Advisor looking for a step-up.
• Technical skills and experience are essential.
• Well-presented and have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Ability to build rapport and create lasting relationships with customers (which lead to customer loyalty and referrals).
• Excellent communication skills.
