Job summary

Focus Resourcing is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join our team in a busy, customer-facing role. Monday–Friday 8am–6pm with Saturdays 8am–2pm on a 1 in 3 rotation.

Salary £30,000 with an OTE around £40,000 and a range of perks including pension, life assurance, and an employee car purchase scheme. The role focuses on arranging vehicle services, understanding customer needs, and communicating clearly with customers and the workshop team to meet pre-arranged time frames.

Qualifications

• Experience as an automotive service advisor or related customer-facing role.
• Proven ability to discuss services and costs with customers.
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Arrange vehicle services via telephone and face to face communication.
• Understand customer's requirements and address any specific concerns.
• Manage and follow up all work in progress; liaise with Workshop Controller and Technicians.
• Contact customers to advise of further services or costs.
• Arrange alternative transport for the customer.

Daily duties:

• Arrange vehicle services via telephone and face to face communication
• Understand customer's requirements, addressing any specific concerns
• Manage and follow up all work in progress on customer vehicles; liaise regularly with the customer and Workshop Controller (and Technicians as required) to meet pre-arranged time frames
• Contact customers to advise of further services or costs that arise during the service
• Arrange alternative transport for the customer

The ideal applicant will have a passion for customer service, excellent face to face and telephone communication skills. Computer literacy is essential, as is the ability to learn new systems quickly.
