Job summary
GEA is seeking a Senior Product Support Engineer to join the Separation Equipment team in the UK. You will act as the technical expert, providing advanced support across the separation portfolio, and escalate complex issues while coordinating with Field Service, Sales and Projects to ensure high customer satisfaction.
You will influence service delivery, equipment reliability and CBM adoption. Travel across the UK to support on-site installations and remote monitoring will be required.
Qualifications
- Engineering qualification or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years' experience with separation equipment in service/technical support roles.
- Ability to interpret drawings, manuals and engineering docs.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical support across the separation portfolio.
- Serve as senior escalation point for complex issues and equipment breakdowns.
- Collaborate with OEMs and engineering teams to develop solutions.
- Assist commissioning, optimization and performance improvement of customer equipment.
- Review and triage technical tickets and escalate appropriately.
- Identify recurring failures and recommend improvements for reliability.
- Lead and coordinate complex service activities on-site and remotely.
- Deliver technical training to engineers, service teams and customers.
- Support project installations with specialist technical expertise.
- Set up and monitor CBM systems and produce reports.
