Zusammenfassung

Immunocore seeks a Senior Scientist I - Characterisation in its Oxford site to advance protein characterisation using peptide mapping (LC-MS/MS) and mass spectrometry. You will contribute to development of characterisation methods for biopharmaceutical products and support stability and comparability studies.

You will coordinate extensive testing, interpret data, and present findings to internal teams and external partners, mentoring others to improve lab practices and efficiency.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in development of HPLC-based peptide mapping methods and MS characterisation of recombinant proteins or antibodies.
• Glycosylation analysis of recombinant proteins or antibodies.
• Independently coordinated extensive testing of protein biomolecules.
• Characterisation of proteins expressed in microbial and mammalian systems.
• Understanding of expected post-translational modifications in biological systems.
• Bench-based biopharmaceutical laboratory experience.
• Expert amongst peers in electrophoretic, chromatographic or MS methods.

Aufgaben

• Characterise and test Biopharmaceutical products using peptide mapping and MS techniques.
• Design and perform biochemical characterisation, chemical stability and comparability studies.
• Contribute to study protocols and reports; present findings to internal and external audiences.
• Mentor colleagues and share knowledge across teams; drive improvements in working practices.
