Authentic Education is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to deliver a high-quality HR service across the Academy, leading on recruitment and onboarding.

The role requires strong knowledge of employment law, excellent communication and discretion, with responsibilities including payroll processing, Safer Recruitment, absence management, and advising managers on policies and procedures. A supportive environment with CPD and career progression is offered.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in a generalist HR role.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and best practice.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organised, detail-focused, and able to prioritise effectively.
• Professional, discreet, and integrity-driven; proactive and flexible.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring Safer Recruitment Practices including being accountable for the Single Central Register.
• Processing payroll.
• Providing expert advice on employee relations, policies and procedures.
• Supporting managers with absence management, disciplinaries, and performance issues.
