Job summary

Voyage Education Partnership is looking for an HR Advisor to provide day-to-day HR support across schools, focusing on employee relations, recruitment, payroll and policy compliance.

The role is hybrid, based at Haven High Academy with two days on site, and offers a supportive environment within a multi-academy trust.

The ideal candidate will have CIPD Level 3, HR admin and advisory experience, strong IT skills and an ability to handle sensitive data.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 3 or equivalent HR qualification.
• Experience in HR administration and advisory roles.
• Understanding of employment law and GDPR.
• Experience using HRIS and payroll systems.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, practical HR advice to school leaders on employee matters.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, probation, and contract changes.
• Handle absence management, employee relations casework, and investigations.
• Support payroll administration and update HR and payroll systems.
• Maintain confidential HR records in line with Trust policies and GDPR.
• Assist safeguarding and safer recruitment compliance across the Trust.
• Liaise with payroll on contract changes and leave arrangements.
• Prepare contracts and variation letters as required.
• Support recruitment compliance and maintain recruitment documentation.
