A leading global financial firm is seeking a proactive Senior Sanctions Officer to join its team in the UK. This hybrid role requires providing sanctions advice, developing expertise in economic and trade sanctions, and supporting compliance. We are looking for a proactive and dynamic Senior Sanctions Officer to join the UK Marsh McLennan Financial Crime Team, at a time when the company is going through an exciting period of growth and change. The position can be based in either Norwich, London or York and is a hybrid role, with a minimum requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
This role will report to our UK Sanctions Lead and the successful candidate will provide sanctions advice and guidance to our business areas and functions, as well as being involved in sanctions-related projects and workstreams.
The UK Marsh McLennan Financial Crime Team manages the UK’s Financial Crime Framework and helps UK entities meet their legal and regulatory requirements. This includes Financial Crime prevention, detection and investigation across the areas of Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Terrorist Financing, Sanctions and Export Controls, Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABC) including Third Party Providers (TPPs) and Gifts & Entertainment, Fraud, Tax Evasion and Market Abuse.
