Job summary

HSBC is seeking a dynamic Senior Sales Manager to drive revenue in Global Payment Solutions within Commercial Banking UK. You will originate leads, build strategic relationships with new and existing clients, and identify and sell cash and clearing management solutions to corporates across Midlands and North.

You will travel to client premises, develop plans with CMB and product teams, and ensure a positive client experience while maintaining regulatory compliance and delivering against revenue

Qualifications

• Experience in a Sales or Business Development role within Banking is a must.
• Proven ability in identifying and meeting customer needs through matching a broad range of products and services.
• Proven experience of developing and executing business opportunities to meet client needs & deliver commercially.
• Relevant product knowledge including knowledge of Transaction Banking / Global Payment Solutions is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of complex clients to grow existing revenues and generate new income for HSBC from clients and prospects across the GPS product suite domestically and internationally.
• Broadening and deepening client relationships and developing new business through ideas and solutions, travelling to customers’ premises to conduct meetings.
• Customer planning and monitoring/contact as part of the Commercial Banking client planning process.
• Working with key stakeholders including CMB, Product Development, Client Management to ensure a positive client experience.
• Sharing success and narrative with management and stakeholders and highlighting any challenges.
• Maintaining close liaison with key stakeholders to provide input to the strategic direction of the business, share key insights and the functionality and launch of new products and services.
• Continually reassessing the Sales process through to implementation and work closely with other stakeholders to identify efficiencies.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements for good customer outcomes.
