Cathedral Appointments, recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing software business, seeks a Senior Business Development Manager to own new business revenue from first contact through to signed contract, and to lead responses to formal public sector procurement.

This senior, quota-carrying role includes growing a partner and supply-chain channel, with remote work and monthly Exeter office visits; UK travel required. A base salary of £60,000-£70,000 plus commission, OTE £100,000, is on offer.

Qualifications

• Track record of consistently hitting or exceeding new business software targets.
• Experience selling complex SaaS software to procurement teams.
• Successful experience with public sector or regulated buyers and tenders.
• Ability to manage long sales cycles and map stakeholders.
• Strong pricing, revenue models, and contract negotiation skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Own the full new business sales cycle from first contact to signed contract.
• Lead responses to formal public sector procurement including ITTs and tenders.
• Grow partner and supply-chain channel and manage reseller relationships.
• Maintain disciplined CRM pipeline with weekly commits and forecasts.
• Represent the business at sector events and provide competitive intelligence.
