Job summary

Humanoid is seeking a Senior Software Serviceability Engineer to own the software and AI serviceability of our humanoid robots. You will shape diagnostics, firmware/bootloader serviceability, and the Digital Shadow remote-diagnostics platform, ensuring field serviceability and rapid fault localisation.

This role is deeply technical, hands-on, and requires collaboration with R&D to validate software serviceability and OTA procedures before production releases.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering for robotics or embedded systems.
• Experience with diagnostics, tooling, and automation.
• Hands-on with software and firmware fault localisation.
• Familiar with ROS2, Python, and C++ in a robotics context.
• Knowledge of sensor/actuator software stacks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own software serviceability for the robot's software, firmware, and AI.
• Build and validate diagnostic scripts, tooling, and self-test routines.
• Define software diagnostics content in remote diagnostics platforms.
• Validate serviceability and OTA procedures before release.
• Support integration with R&D and act as interface between Services and R&D.
• Collaborate on design-for-serviceability in the hardware product line.
