Job summary

Humanoid is seeking a Senior In-House Repair Technician to perform deep hands-on repair, rework, and full overhaul of parts, sub-systems, and robots in our Services Repair Centre.

You will also act as a forensic-analysis specialist to determine root causes and support warranty decisions, including supplier claims. This role involves on-site interventions as a “flying doctor,” mentoring technicians and authoring work instructions for the team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on repair of electromechanical systems and robots.
• Ability to overhaul and restore complex electromechanical systems to specification.
• Strong root-cause analysis and warranty support with evidence.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex repair, rework, and full overhaul/restore on parts, sub-systems, and full robots.
• Deliver approved upgrades to existing robots and parts.
• Lead troubleshooting and forensic analysis when remote services cannot localise fault; determine root cause and support warranty decisions.
• Act as a flying doctor at customer sites for difficult on-site interventions.
• Author clear work instructions and mentor junior technicians.
• Mentor Associate and Advanced technicians and contribute to the skills matrix and career paths.
• Own refurbishment throughput and quality for the most complex part families, and certify work to specification.
