Job summary

Humanoid is advancing humanoid robotics with a remote-first support model. We seek a Mechatronics Remote Support Engineer to diagnose issues remotely, guide field interventions when needed, and occasionally travel as a flying doctor to on-site sites not resolvable remotely.

You will work with telemetry, 3D BOMs, and fleet analytics to identify root causes, deliver precise repair recommendations, and document solutions for our growing robot platform.

Qualifications

• Hands-on knowledge of robot hardware, sensors, and actuators.
• Proficiency with ROS2, Bash, Linux (Ubuntu).
• Strong remote-diagnosis skills and problem localization.
• Clear technical communication with customers under SLA pressure.
• Disciplined documentation and knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose robot faults remotely using telemetry and diagnostics.
• Resolve issues remotely where possible; provide root-cause analysis.
• Produce precise physical-intervention recommendations with parts, tooling, and time estimates.
• Occasionally travel as a flying doctor for on-site interventions.
• Prioritise cases against SLAs and keep customers updated with transparent progress.
• Document diagnoses and resolutions to grow team knowledge and mature tooling.
• Escalate to Engineering when R&D involvement is required.
