Job summary

Humanoid in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Hardware Test Engineer to own the test methodology for HMND‑01’s hardware components, robot subsystems, and full humanoid robots.

You will design, run, and refine tests on early prototypes, partner with manufacturing, QA, and automation teams, and define data capture and pass/fail criteria to drive design improvements toward production.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in hardware test engineering for electromechanical systems.
• Ability to write clear test specs that others can execute.
• Hands-on prototype bring-up and root-cause analysis.
• Familiarity with production environment and QA handoffs.

Responsibilities

• Define test methods for actuators, sensors, electronics and structure.
• Design integration tests for robot subsystems and full robot assemblies.
• Lead hands-on testing during prototype bring-up.
• Drive data capture, analysis and traceability for builds.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and Production Ops.
