Amazon Uk Services Ltd. is seeking a Senior RME Technician to lead reliability maintenance across EU operations, driving improvements and ensuring equipment uptime. You will oversee shifts, applying best practices in electrical and mechanical disciplines while guiding team development.

Expect to work with PLC/SCADA monitoring tools, coordinate preventative maintenance, and help standardise processes across fulfilment centres to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.

Competenze

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics or completed a 4-year UK certified apprenticeship.
• Experience in material handling equipment (MHE) or automation environments.
• Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Relevant experience in a technical leadership role.
• Experience in both electrical and mechanical disciplines.

Mansioni

• Demonstrate best practice on using equipment safely and monitor teams to ensure correct processes.
• Monitor equipment performance via visual checks, condition-based monitoring, and preventive maintenance.
• Supervise technicians on shift and be the first contact for Reliability Maintenance Engineers.
• Resolve equipment issues to reduce downtime and speed up package processing.
• Help standardise processes across the EU network and drive continuous improvements.
• Lead shifts to ensure equipment readiness and perform admin tasks with line managers.
