Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking a Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineer to lead an RME team and drive safe, efficient maintenance across the European network. You will apply best-practice engineering, supervise shifts and implement improvements to minimize downtime.

The role requires strong technical leadership, PLC/automation experience, and a background in MHE or similar environments. Occasional nights/weekends may apply at operational sites in the UK.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics or a 4-year UK certified apprenticeship.
• Experience leading engineering teams as a mentor or tech lead.
• Experience in electrical or mechanical engineering and material handling equipment (MHE) or automation environments.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate best practice on using equipment safely and monitor teams to ensure correct processes.
• Track equipment performance and schedule maintenance and servicing when required.
• Supervise technicians on shift and act as first point of contact for Reliability Maintenance Engineers.
• Solve issues to reduce downtime and keep operations running smoothly.
• Support in improving systems and standardising processes across the EU network.
