Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking a Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) Technician to lead maintenance on-site across fulfilment sites.

You will oversee planned preventative maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and drive continuous improvement of processes and safety standards. The role requires a strong technical background in mechanical and electrical disciplines, plus experience with automation and multi-site environments.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics or a 4-year UK apprenticeship.
Flexibility with shifts including weekends/nights.
Technical leadership experience.
Experience in automation or material handling environments.
Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate best practice on equipment safety and monitor teams for correct processes.
Track equipment performance via visual checks and preventative maintenance.
Supervise technicians on shift and act as first point of contact for RME Engineers.
Resolve equipment issues to reduce downtime and keep operations moving.
Support system improvements and standardise processes across the EU network.
