Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking a Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) Technician to lead maintenance across our EU network. You will drive proactive maintenance, supervise teams, and implement improvements to boost machinery uptime and efficiency.

You will work with cutting‑edge automation and packaging systems, collaborating with multi-site teams to keep our fulfilment centres running at peak performance. A strong engineering background and flexible shifts are essential.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics or a 4-year UK apprenticeship completed.
Flexibility to work across shifts, including nights and weekends.
Experience in technical leadership roles within automation or material handling environments.
Proficient verbal and written English.

Responsibilities

Lead safe equipment operation and enforce correct processes.
Monitor equipment performance through visual checks, condition-based monitoring and preventive maintenance.
Oversee shift technicians; act as first point of contact for Reliability Maintenance Engineers.
Troubleshoot equipment to reduce downtime and speed up package processing.
Suggest improvements to standardise systems across the EU network.
