Job summary

Cloudflare in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to ensure revenue recognition complies with US GAAP and company policies, while driving AI-powered automation to scale processes.

In this role, you will advise and operate revenue workflows, perform close activities, prepare journals and reconciliations, and partner with legal, sales, and finance teams to review complex deals. You will mentor juniors and report findings to management.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Active CPA or CPA candidate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure revenue recognition complies with US GAAP and company policies, while leveraging AI-driven automation.
• Assist with accounting close activities and journal entries.
• Collaborate with legal, sales and other teams to review complex deals.
• Prepare reconciliations and related financial analyses for management and external reporting.
• Participate in AI-driven initiatives to improve revenue analytics and processes.
• Mentor junior team members and escalate issues to management.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support the audit process.
