Job Title: Children\'s Residential Care Team Leader
Location: SY12, near Bagley, Shrewsbury
Salary: Base £28,496 per annum plus £7000 to £8000 in sleep pay = Take Home of £36,496
Working Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Hourly Rate: £13.70
Number of Sleeps Required: Occasional
Pay Per Sleep: £62 per night
Service: Children’s Home
Service Users: YPs with Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs
Qualifications Required: Level 4 Children, Young People and Families Practitioner or enrolled/completed Level 3 Residential Childcare
Experience in Years Required: Proven supervisory experience required within a Children\'s Residential
Employment Type: Permanent
Number of Beds: 5 Bed Home that will be run as a 4 Bed
Location: Rural SY12, near Shrewsbury
Type of YPs: Learning Disabilities, Complex Needs
Ofsted Rating: New Home – opening Summer 2025
We are looking for committed and passionate individuals with experience in children’s residential care and a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection. You must be able to lead shifts, administer medication, and provide high-quality emotional and physical support for our young people. You’ll be part of shaping a brand-new home and building a nurturing, safe environment.
You’ll be working with a small, family-run organisation passionate about providing high-quality residential care to young people with learning disabilities and complex needs. 🚫 You only hold a Level 3 in Health & Social Care – this is not deemed equivalent.
🚫 You only have experience in Healthcare, NHS, CQC, or as a Nursery Practitioner.

🚫 Individuals with only CQC experience and who have not worked in an Ofsted Registered Children’s Home will not be considered.
