Job summary

NELFT is seeking a Senior Rehabilitation Assistant to join the Mountnessing Court therapy team in Billericay. You will support adults with frailty and complex needs, delivering rehabilitation under physiotherapists and occupational therapists, to maximise independence.

This role demands strong communication and organisational skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and commitment to patient-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver delegated rehabilitation interventions under the direction of Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists.
• Support patients with mobility, transfers, activities of daily living and therapeutic exercise programmes.
• Promote independence, recovery and confidence to maximise patients' functional potential.
• Monitor and report patient progress and any changes in presentation to registered staff.
• Coordinate discharge planning and arrange rehabilitation equipment where appropriate.
