Job summary

Active Care Group is recruiting a Registered Manager for Woodland Court, a specialist supported living service for adults with learning disabilities, autism, epilepsy, and mental health needs. You will lead governance, regulatory compliance and 24-hour support delivery across 27 single occupancy flats and two shared flats.

The role requires a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care and proven management experience within adult health and social care.

Qualifications

• Lead and oversee service delivery to ensure safe, person-centred care.
• Ensure governance and regulatory compliance across the service.
• Develop and manage budgets, staffing and occupancy to meet objectives.
• Engage families, professionals and regulators to support outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operational performance and quality.
• Act as CQC Registered Manager and ensure compliance with legislation and standards.
• Provide visible leadership and effective delegation to deputies and leaders.
• Drive a high-performing, supportive culture centred on each resident.
• Oversee governance activities: audits, incidents, safeguarding, training and action plans.
• Maintain safe staffing and robust risk management for complex needs.
