Job summary

Voyage Care Ltd in Fareham, Hampshire, is seeking a Registered Service Manager to lead a specialist residential service supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.

You will provide strong leadership, develop and motivate a skilled team, ensure high-quality, safe care and compliance with CQC and regulatory requirements, and collaborate with commissioners and professionals to achieve outstanding outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in learning disability, mental health or complex care services.
• Strong knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).
• Experience leading large staff teams.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, risk management and CQC requirements.
• Willingness to work towards Level 5 Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the service.
• Develop, motivate and support an established staff team.
• Drive a positive, inclusive culture focused on person-centred support.
• Manage support plans, risk assessments and care reviews.
• Ensure regulatory, legislative and company compliance.
• Complete audits, investigations, and quality assurance activities.
• Manage budgets and service performance.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and commissioners.
• Support ongoing development of PBS approaches.
• Participate in on-call management rota.
