Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking a Registered Manager for Bethany House and Bethany Lodge in Dymchurch to lead two complex care services for adults with neurological and other health needs. You will ensure safe, effective, compassionate and person-centred care across both sites.

The role requires a Level 5 leadership and management qualification for adult social care and substantial management experience within regulated health or social care settings.

Qualifications

• Level 5 leadership and management qualification for adult social care.
• Substantial management experience within health or social care, ideally as a CQC Registered Manager.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding and adult social care requirements.
• Experience of leading and developing teams within a regulated care environment.

Responsibilities

• Leading the day-to-day performance, quality and regulatory compliance of both services.
• Maintaining high standards of safe, effective and person-centred care.
• Providing visible leadership and supporting colleagues to perform at their best.
• Overseeing staffing, recruitment, retention, training and colleague development.
• Managing budgets, resources and operational performance.
• Building strong relationships with residents, families, commissioners and healthcare professionals.
• Driving continuous improvement through audits, action plans, feedback and learning.
• Supporting appropriate referrals, transitions and admissions across both services.
• Maintaining CQC standards and ensuring both homes are ready for inspection.
