Job summary

Jodie AI in London is building an AI receptionist for busy businesses. You will own React Native and TypeScript features across iOS and Android, ensure push notifications and authentication work reliably, and handle connectivity and platform differences with care.

You will join a London-based team, work with users and the wider engineering group to ship high-quality mobile experiences, and contribute to release quality, crash analysis, and app-store delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience shipping and maintaining React Native apps on both iOS and Android.
• A practical understanding of native build tooling, signing and release workflows.
• Experience debugging performance, lifecycle and network issues on real devices.
• Strong TypeScript, mobile accessibility and testing fundamentals.

Jodie AI is a UK company building an AI receptionist for busy businesses. Jodie answerscalls, captures the important details and helps owners get back to customers, even whenthey can't pick up themselves.

Work alongside our London team, with direct access to the people building and supporting Jodie.

What you'll own

• Own React Native and TypeScript features across iOS and Android.
• Make push notifications, deep links and authentication work reliably across app states.
• Handle poor connectivity, background behaviour and platform differences with care.
• Own release quality, crash investigation and app-store delivery with the wider engineering team.

What you'll bring

• Experience shipping and maintaining React Native apps on both iOS and Android.

Useful, but not essential

Native Swift or Kotlin, audio playback, notification delivery and mobile observability.

Your first 90 days

A starting point we'll shape together, with clear priorities and support.

• By day 30

  Run both apps locally, understand their releases and ship a contained improvement.

• By day 60

  Deliver a complete mobile workflow with reliable platform-specific behaviour.

• By day 90

  Improve a stability or performance metric and make releases easier to operate.

Where and when you'll work

Full-time, 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday. Work primarily from our London HQ during UK business hours. Discuss any flexibility you need at the first conversation.

Annual base salary, before tax
