Job summary

WSP is seeking an electrical design engineer to develop and deliver electrical designs for smaller rail station projects. You will work within a multidisciplinary team ensuring technically compliant designs to client requirements and engage in the design coordination process with Clients and internal assurance teams.

The role involves meeting client expectations on electrical systems and distribution, with a hybrid work policy offering flexible office and home-based collaboration across the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience of the design of electrical systems.
• Experience of Electrical Design on Rail Stations.
• 230/400V power distribution (single and 3phase)
• Electrical building services (power/lighting/fire/intruder)

Responsibilities

• Developing and delivering the electrical designs for smaller station rail projects as they arise.
• Working within a multidisciplinary team producing technically compliant designs to Clients requirements.
• Meeting with Client’s and internal company assurance processes and will engage fully in the multidisciplinary design coordination process.
