Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to develop and deliver electrical designs for rail station projects, working within a multidisciplinary team to meet client requirements and ensure technical compliance.

You will coordinate with clients such as Network Rail, TfL and LUL, and engage in design coordination with other disciplines, while supporting landmark projects across the UK under a hybrid working policy.

Qualifications

• Experience of the Design of electrical systems.
• Experience of Electrical Design on Rail Stations.
• 230/400V power distribution (single and 3phase).
• Electrical building services (power/lighting/fire/intruder).

Responsibilities

• Developing and delivering the electrical designs for smaller station rail projects as they arise.
• Working within a multidisciplinary team producing technically compliant designs to Clients requirements.
• Meeting with Client’s and internal company assurance processes and will engage fully in the multidisciplinary design coordination process.
