Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to develop and deliver electrical designs for smaller station rail projects. You will join a multidisciplinary team delivering technically compliant designs to Clients including Network Rail, TfL and LUL.

The role involves engaging in design coordination, client meetings, and adherence to building services (power/lighting/fire/intruder) and 230/400V distribution, with a focus on delivering reliable, safe rail infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Experience designing electrical systems.
• Electrical design experience on rail stations.
• 230/400V power distribution (single & 3phase).
• Electrical building services (power/lighting/fire/intruder).

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver electrical designs for smaller station rail projects.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team to produce technically compliant designs.
