Job summary

WSP is seeking an Electrical Design professional to lead the design of electrical systems for rail station projects. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver technically compliant designs that meet Client requirements and industry standards.

In this role you’ll engage with Clients and internal assurance processes, coordinating across disciplines and supporting sub-consultants on complex rail schemes for Network Rail, TfL, and LUL.

Qualifications

• Experience of the Design of electrical systems.
• Experience of Electrical Design on Rail Stations.
• 230/400V power distribution (single and 3phase)
• Electrical building services (power/lighting/fire/intruder)

Responsibilities

• Developing and delivering the electrical designs for smaller station rail projects as they arise.
• Working within a multidisciplinary team producing technically compliant designs to Clients requirements.
• Meeting with Client’s and internal company assurance processes and will engage fully in the multidisciplinary design coordination process. Clients are Network Rail, TfL, & LUL, in addition will be working as a sub consultant to Main Contractors.
