Job summary

Stafforce Recruitment is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a permanent role in Loughborough. The role focuses on controlling contract costs, reviewing commercial performance, and managing client accounts within a steel fabrication context.

You will work with the Contracts Manager to monitor costs, prepare end-of-month reports, and lead on cost value reconciliations while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of construction and steelwork.
• Experience with NEC Option A/B and JCT forms.
• Proficient with MS Excel.
• Familiar with MS Project NEC cl. 31 & cl. 32.

Responsibilities

• Carry out contract reviews and advise on risk and opportunities.
• Negotiate contract terms to mitigate commercial risk.
• Manage costs, reporting and valuation on contracts.
• Prepare and monitor client accounts with Contracts Manager.
• Conduct measurements and surveying on site.
• Agree final accounts with Contracts Manager.
• Liaise with internal teams and subcontractors.
