Ferrovial Construction is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor in Birmingham for the Track North Commercial Team, reporting to the Commercial Lead. You will contribute to cost control, contract administration, and proactive change management across a high-profile HS2 track project.

You will work within a collaborative project environment, managing main contracts, supply chain relationships and risk, while delivering accurate commercial reporting and value recovery activities.

Competenze

• Degree, HNC or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or related discipline.
• Experience in quantity surveying or commercial management within construction, engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of contract administration, cost management and commercial reporting.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Mansioni

• Support the commercial management of the Track North portfolio, including cost control, forecasting and reporting.
• Administer the main contract and supply chain agreements in accordance with contractual and governance requirements.
• Manage commercial change, including compensation events, variations and value recovery activities.
• Support procurement activities, tender evaluations and subcontract management.
• Assess applications for payment and maintain accurate commercial records.
• Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities, providing clear advice to project stakeholders.
• Build effective working relationships with project teams, clients and supply chain partners whilst protecting the JV's commercial position.
