Job summary

Ferrovial Construction in Birmingham is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the Track North Commercial Team. You will manage the commercial administration, cost control, and change management for HS2 Track North packages within a collaborative project environment.

The role requires a degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or related field, strong contract administration skills, and experience with procurement, tenders, and subcontract management. NEC contract experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or related discipline.
• Experience in quantity surveying or commercial management within construction or infrastructure.
• Strong contract administration, cost management and reporting capabilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support commercial management of the Track North portfolio, including cost control, forecasting and reporting.
• Administer main contracts and supply chain agreements per governance requirements.
• Manage commercial change, variations and value recovery activities.
• Support procurement activities, tender evaluations and subcontract management.
• Assess payment applications and maintain accurate records.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities and advise stakeholders.
• Build relationships with project teams, clients and supply chain partners.
