Job summary

Siemens Mobility UKI is recruiting Senior Quantity Surveyors to support major rail and infrastructure programmes across the UK. The roles are hybrid with a minimum of three days in the office, spanning cities including Manchester.

You will deliver commercial excellence, cost management, and contract administration for complex projects and interact with clients and internal teams to shape sustainable mobility solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in a relevant discipline or working towards/holding RICS or CICES.
• Senior Quantity Surveyor experience within contractor-side projects with a proven commercial delivery.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen including labour and subcontract cost management, forecasting, and change control.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills for stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites across the region.
• Experience in rail, engineering, defence, construction, IT or similar project environments.
• Experience on complex, multidisciplinary projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead change control for projects and manage work package costs.
• Present periodic project commercial performance to stakeholders.
• Provide commercial interface for responsible work packages.
• Support project team with contractual and commercial matters.
• Maintain auditable records and ensure contract compliance.
