Job summary

Siemens Mobility UKI is recruiting Quantity Surveyors to support major rail and infrastructure programmes nationwide with hybrid working and a minimum three days in the office. Roles cover commercial interfaces for work packages, cost management, forecasting and reporting on multisector projects across the UK rail network.

You will partner with clients, subcontractors, project management, engineering and finance to ensure successful delivery while promoting Siemens’ high standards and best

Qualifications

• Experience within rail, engineering, defence, construction, IT, or similar project-based industry.
• Experience working on complex multidisciplinary projects.
• Opportunity to work towards or hold membership such as RICS or CICES.
• Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders across project departments.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial interface for responsible work packages and manage change control.
• Support project team with contractual and commercial guidance.
• Oversee work package cost management, forecasting, budgeting and control.
• Identify risks and opportunities and report them to the project group.
• Contribute to internal and external commercial reporting as required.
• Maintain auditable records in line with contractual requirements.
• Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, project management, engineering and finance.
• Engage with stakeholders to align on commercial performance and delivery.
