Siemens Mobility UKI is hiring Senior Quantity Surveyors to support major rail and infrastructure programmes across the UK. The role requires hybrid working with a minimum of three days in the office and travel to customer sites as needed.

You will manage cost control, contract administration, and commercial reporting for multiple work packages, partnering with clients and internal teams to deliver value and ensure financial performance across high-profile projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in rail, engineering, defence, construction, IT or similar project-based industry.
• Experience on complex, multidisciplinary projects.
• Opportunity to work towards professional membership such as RICS, CICES.
• Experience collaboratively managing multiple stakeholders across project departments.

Responsabilités

• Experience with project and work package change control and management.
• Present periodic project commercial performance.
• Provide commercial interface for responsible work packages.
• Provide contractual & commercial support to Project team.
• Responsible for work package cost management, including forecasting, budget management and control.
• Monitor and actively manage and mitigate work package risks.
• Provide input to internal and external commercial reports as required.
• Ensure processes and contract administration complies with the appropriate Company standards.
• Establish and maintain leadership interfaces with key stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, project management, engineering, and finance teams.
• Responsible for maintaining auditable records for responsible work packages in accordance with contractual requirements.
