Senior Quantity Surveyor | London, UK

Role Overview: Join our cost management team in London, reporting to the Executive Director, with a strong client-facing role.

Location & Working Arrangements: London or Croydon offices, hybrid working, competitive salary and benefits.

Project Focus: Work on new build industrial & logistics projects, including warehouses and distribution centers, supporting our Southeast team.

Candidate Profile: Experienced in delivering pre and post contract duties independently, with large project experience, preferably chartered or progressing towards RICS membership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers, reporting to the Technical Director.
  • Ensure client objectives through cost control and contractual advice.
  • Attend and lead meetings, prepare financial reports, and manage project communication.
  • Prepare tender documents and advise on procurement, contracts, and project performance.
  • Handle post-contract duties, including variations, settlements, and disputes.
  • Manage projects from estimate to final account, mentoring junior staff.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar.
  • Full RICS membership or progress towards it.
  • Experience in cost management for large-scale new build projects.
  • Strong client engagement skills, familiar with JCT and NEC contracts, and tendering experience. Knowledge of CostX software is a plus.
