Looking for a dynamic, professional work environment? Why not join us.

Working from offices in central London, we have built a uniquely diverse project delivery team that combines contractors quantity surveyors, project managers and engineers with more-traditional client-side cost and project managers.

With live Residential / Co-Living / PBSA projects ranging from 50 apartments through to 500 apartments, along with a variety of commercial office projects across greater London and the UK, we are seeking an experienced, full time Senior Quantity Surveyor with a good understanding of the living sector, cost planning and administering JCT Contracts to join our talented team with an immediate start.

What will you be doing?

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be leading commercially on projects, liaising with both the client and contractor team to ensure successful project delivery. You will be an integral part of the project and the key point of contact from the Circle team, navigating the scheme from feasibility cost planning, through tendering and procurement to practical completion. The projects you will be involved in vary from new build to refurbishment schemes, at a range of values from £20-£100m and may be in procurement or during construction.

Other responsibilities include:

  1. Become an Extension of the Client Team
  2. Engaging with Customers and developing, growing and maintaining relationships.

  6. Evaluating and reporting on all aspects of project programmes.
  7. Mentoring and coaching employees to their full potential.
  8. Identifying new business development opportunities and driving growth across the Business Units activities.
  9. Advising Directors promptly of any issues that have arisen, or that might arise, on projects.
  10. Supply Chain Engagement
  11. Main Contractor Procurement
  12. Cost Planning
  13. Carbon Impact Assessments
  14. Interim Payments / Valuations
  15. Management of Change
  16. Cost Report
  17. Cash Flow Forecasts
  18. Monthly Reporting

Requirements:

  1. MRICS or Currently focused towards their APC within the next 12 months
  2. Experience working in a cost consultancy business
  3. Measurement software experience
  4. Experience of administering JCT Contracts
  5. Residential new build experience
  6. Technically proficient with a keen eye for detail
  7. Team player
  8. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
