Job summary

Vistry West Yorkshire is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the QS function across multiple residential contracts from our Wakefield office. You will supervise, manage and advise on financial and contractual aspects to maximise profitability and service quality.

A key focus is cost control, reporting and collaboration with Estimating and Buying teams. Applicants should have a solid background in PQS/SQS roles within house-building, with degrees in Surveying and ongoing CIOB/RICS

Qualifications

• HNC / HND in Surveying or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a PQS / SQS / Commercial lead in residential house building.
• Degree in Surveying or similar; working towards CIOB or RICS is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the QS team across multiple contracts.
• Provide cost control and financial reporting for projects.
• Advise on contractual and commercial aspects to maximise profitability.
• Liaise with other departments to assess cost implications of design changes.
