Job summary

Wakefield-based Quantity Surveyor role offering hybrid working in a growing Yorkshire team. Salary £50,000–£60,000 with a package. You will manage financial reporting, payments, and client relationships within a commercial team on mainly new build housing projects.

The role emphasises collaboration with external/internal stakeholders and mentoring an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, with NEC/JCT experience and a degree in Quantity Surveying as core requirements.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate general construction knowledge.
• Experience of delivering projects under NEC and JCT Forms of Contract.
• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying.

Responsibilities

• Regular financial reporting; processing and administration of applications for payment upstream and downstream and managing relationships with the Client and the appointed professional team.
• Collaborative working with all external and internal stakeholders, including mentoring/managing an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to contribute to the growth of the hub.
• Working on a portfolio of projects predominately involving new build housing schemes.
• Hybrid working available.

About the role

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor thinking about a fresh start working for a leading house builder? I am currently recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join my client’s growing Yorkshire team based in Wakefield, with hybrid working available. As a Quantity Surveyor you will work within an established commercial team, supporting them on various developments throughout the Yorkshire region.
