Job summary

Vistry Group in Warrington is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage all project costs, procurement, subcontract administration, monthly payments and final accounts. The role includes travel to sites across the region and close collaboration with land, development and construction teams.

Qualifications

• HNC in Surveying or Construction or equivalent.
• Experience in the Construction industry for a residential housing developer.
• Excellent IT, analytical and communication skills.
• Strong mathematical ability and budget management understanding.
• Ability to assess information and negotiate effectively.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Attend design meetings to advise on cost implications.
• Prepare tender lists and procurement programmes.
• Prepare cost analyses and track subcontract costs and variations.
• Manage budget, stage payments and final accounts with the Commercial team.
• Issue variation orders and liaise with Buyers and Build Managers.
• Check costs posted to contracts and provide monthly cost analyses.
