Job summary

Aureos is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Birmingham office and form part of the Commercial team. The role focuses on delivering profitable, well-documented commercial performance across national infrastructure schemes.

You will report to the Regional Commercial Manager and contribute to cost control, income optimisation, and timely payment applications. A strong background in contracting commercial activities is essential.

Qualifications

• Essential: Substantial experience in contracting commercial departments.
• Essential: Experience on multi-disciplinary HV/LV infrastructure projects desirable.
• Essential: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and related packages.

Responsibilities

• Manage applications and credit control processes for projects.
• Oversee cost forecasting and change control across schemes.
• Provide commercial advice to project teams and manage subcontract life cycle.
• Develop and maintain project reporting to maximise profitability and cashflow.
• Support tendering and contract reviews with the Regional Commercial Manager.
